The Team

Meet the authors, reviewers, and editors of Worthy Fantasy!

Millard is the author newest to the fantasy scene. The first fantasy book he read was Wayne Batson’s The Door Within. After reading it, he was hooked for life. Since that day a few years ago he have read close to 40 different fantasy books, and re-read most! He enjoys fantasy writing though he is just testing the waters with it. He has written some short stories and most of a novella. His favorite kind of fantasy is other worldly, as in, you have earth and another world running parallel. A good example of this is the recently produced and co-authored book by Christopher Hopper, Curse of the Spider King. He is a bond-servant of Christ having given up his rights and willingly pressing on toward the goal of conforming to his image. He believes Jesus Christ is the son of God. That he died and rose again, and that we can accept his sacrifice for us by faith alone.  He believes that the Bible alone should dictate our reading and not the culture.  He strongly believes there needs to be more Christ centered God honoring fantasy written.

Noah Arsenault is a teen who 1.) has allergies to many things 2.) owns cats  3.) usually does nothing but the essentials of life 4.) blogs and 5.) reads a ton. (which is, or course, essential to life, as everyone knows) Often he watches movies, but rarely plays video games. The only writing he has done is in the form of reviews, essays, short stories (not very good), explications, and the odd poem or sonnet.  He goes to a rigorous school, so he is often very busy each school day. And, to top it off, he has solved the Rubik's Cube in 1 minute and 16 seconds!  He reviews books and holds author interviews on his blog : http://noahsreads.blogspot.com/

Jake has been writing for several years, after he sat down one day and began a novel which he titled his 'Unknown Story"--meaning the title. As of today he's written several short stories, a couple of acceptable poems, and two novels and a half--though none have been published. Dozens of fantasy books line his bookshelf; reading fantasy is like an occupation to him. Right now he lives in Kansas with his three sisters, two of which are avid fantasy fans as well. You can find him at his blog, http://teenagewritingrocks.blogspot.com/
